Does your course, research, or program serve or work with the community?
A new university-wide initiative is underway to apply for the Carnegie Foundation Classification for Community Engagement and formally recognize our impressive range of existing community-engagement practices. A diverse working group across campus has been formed and has begun the work needed to submit our application in April 2023.
Working group members will present the application process and discuss the components and data that we will collect and submit to represent our community engagement practices, activities, and impact.
Who should attend?
This event is open to all university faculty and staff. If you engage with our local, state, or global communities, we encourage to you attend to learn how you can contribute to this effort.
We are seeking participation and engagement from throughout the University so that we reflect you and your efforts.
