Sabrina Vazquez has worked with the Arizona Legislature for over eight sessions, the majority of her career has been spent lobbying for public education issues. Prior to assuming her role as the Director of State Relations for the University of Arizona, Sabrina served as Deputy Director for the Arizona State Board of Education and Designated Lobbyist for the Arizona School Administrators Association. Sabrina has also worked for a public policy consulting firm, Barnes & Associates, where she represented a variety of clients in the Arizona Legislature. Sabrina began her legislative career as an intern for the Arizona State Senate in 2007. After completing that internship, Sabrina joined Teach for America, and she taught second grade at Loma Linda Elementary school in Phoenix, AZ. Immediately following her two-year teaching experience Sabrina completed the White House Internship Program. Sabrina is a proud UA Wildcat. She received her bachelor’s degree at the University of Arizona in International Studies.
